Marshall 3D logo build

Brief
Our third year began with us diving headfirst into learning Mash, a dynamic procedural particle system in Maya. We concentrated on learning about its complexities and using that information to produce a logo build animation. This brief pushed us to use our technical skills and artistic imagination to create visually captivating narratives utilising Mash.
Final animation
process
I started the process by extensively researching Mash's capabilities in order to determine my potential. Because of Marshall's vibrant branding and how well it matched my love of music, I decided to use it as the basis for my logo build and animation project. I imagined how Mash could enhance the essence of the brand, realising its room for creativity. I created a storyboard to visually convey my concepts and ideas by mapping out the nodes I planned to explore.

reflection
For me, this assignment was really enjoyable. In order to provide the most captivating outcomes possible, I tried to make the most of Mash's many features. I learned so much throughout this class, and it has fueled my desire to learn even more about Mash's potential. I'm determined to keep learning and exploring, and I'm excited to see all the other creative applications for Mash.
